I don't know about you, but I can be pretty lazy sometimes, so when it comes to picking lottery numbers there are other ways besides hunkering down with the computers or throwing your money away on Quick Picks.
This system needed a lazy fair test so I spent the day collecting dollar bills from around the house and not using any when making purchases.
When you examine a dollar bill or the higher denomination bills, each has a unique serial number consisting of a letter at each end and eight individual numbers.
For this system, what we do is turn the eight numbers into as many double digit numbers as possible and then single digit numbers working from left to right.
I'm testing it against my Florida 6/53 game one of the toughest straight up pick six games.
For example, here's my first bill. G57514689D
We get 51-14-and-5-7-1-4 = 1-4-5-7-14-51
Testing these against the previous 657 draws of the Florida 6/53 we find 6-3# wins. Ok I admit that's not too exiting, let's break them all down.
G57514689D = 51-14-5-7-1-4 = 1-4-5-7-14-51 = 6-3#Pizes F80526031H = 52-26-31-8-5-2 = 2-5-8-26-31-52 = 1-4# 9-3# B42242644B = 42-22-24-26-44-4 = 4-22-24-26-42-44 = 11-3# D39290340A = 39-29-34-40-3-9 = 3-9-29-34-39-40 = 7-3# H21597734C = 21-15-2-1-5-9 = 1-2-5-9-15-21 = 1-4# 9-3# H93018752A = 30-18-52-9-3-1 = 1-3-9-18-30-52 = 9-3# G33266932A = 33-32-26-3-2-6 = 2-3-6-26-32-33 = 7-3# K65088829G = 50-29-6-5-8-2 = 2-5-6-8-29-50 = 8-3# B58417294E = 41-17-29-5-8-4 = 4-5-8-17-29-41 = 1-4# 17-3# B00541503A = 41-15-5-4-1-3 = 1-3-4-5-15-41 = 1-4# 8-3# F12012353E = 12-20-23-35-53-1 = 1-12-20-23-35-53 13-3# K91787833E = 17-33-9-1-7-8 = 1-7-8-9-17-33 = 8-3# K59031451G = 31-14-45-51-5-9 = 5-9-14-31-45-51 = 5-3# B89661486A = 14-48-8-9-6-1 = 1-6-8-9-14-48 = 7-3# F02390668I = 23-39-2-3-9-6 = 2-3-6-9-23-39 = 8-3# D66546676D = 46-6-5-4-7 = null D65546675D = 46-6-5-4-7 = null D61827660D = 18-27-6-1-8-2 = 1-2-6-8-18-27 = 1-4# 9-3# F76872032I = 20-32-7-6-8-2 = 2-6-7-8-20-32 = 8-3# K22931707H = 22-29-31-17-2-9 = 2-9-17-22-29-31 = 2-4# 15-3#
Hmmm, just 3# and 4# prizes, what were the odds? 3# prize = 1 in 70.79 draws 4# prize = 1 in 1,414.82 draws 5# prize = 1 in 81,409.50 draws 6# prize = 1 in 22,957,480.00 draws
657 draws divided by 71.79 = 9.28 3# wins expected.
We are bumping right along at probability with the 3# wins and with only 657 of the 1,414 draws for a single 4# win to be expected, those are doing well.
Hope you weren't expecting to see jackpot wins from the above dollars, I'd be suspicious of a salted list with even one jackpot and half expect a special offer of $29.95 for a secret list of hot dollar serial numbers. Someone will be selling this system on ebay next week, could be, duh.
What we're going to do next is kick things up a notch.
Taking the first two numbers . . . G57514689D and F80526031H we get 11 wheeling numbers 1-2-5-7-8-14-26-31-46-51-52 = 4-4# 51-3#
Taking the first three numbers G57514689D, F80526031H and B42242644B we get 16 wheeling numbers 1-2-4-5-7-8-14-22-24-26-31-42-44-46-51-52 = 2-5# 32 4# and 112 3#
Taking the first four numbers G57514689D, F80526031H, B42242644B and D39290340A we get 22 wheeling numbers 1-2-3-4-5-7-8-9-14-22-24-26-29-31-34-39-40-42-44-46-51-52 = 2-6# 24-5# 87-4# and 175 3#
Taking the first five numbers G57514689D, F80526031H, B42242644B, D39290340A and H21597734C we get 24 wheeling numbers 1-2-3-4-5-7-8-9-14-15-21-22-24-26-29-31-34-39-40 42-44-46-51-52 = 3-6# 35-5# 125-4# and 191 3#
Not too shabby, we're hitting right where probability suggests we should, without paying for the system or software, where we'd be lucky to do as well.
It has been said, "The only thing you can do to improve your odds is to buy more tickets." That isn't entirely correct. You can also improve your odds by playing in a lower odds game and improve your odds per dollar played by paying less for your tickets.
The odds of winning the Florida 6/53 are 1 in 22.9 million the odds of winning the NSW 6/45 are 1 in 8.1 million and it has two bonus balls, the odds of 5+B are 1 in 678,755.
The New South Wales 6/45 tickets are .55 each AU dollars, less then that from most countries after taking in the currency exchange rate. Australians can play a little bit cheaper locally, this is the only way the rest of us can play.
Check out one of the few totally safe places to play online with an Australian government licensed agency. Where the prizes are tax free and you don't have to join a syndicate pyramid scheme or pay twice the usual price or more per ticket to play.
